Every certified veteran-owned business, in one place

43,388 small businesses hold an SBA veteran certification — 37,483 of them service-disabled. This is all of them, built from SBA’s own records, with a link on every listing so you can verify it at SBA yourself. Nobody pays to appear and nobody pays to rank higher.

Three things that are widely reported wrong

  • The government-wide SDVOSB goal is 5 percent, not 3. The FY2024 defense authorization raised it, and it counts prime and subcontract awards together.
  • Self-certification ended in two stages — January 2024 for set-asides and sole-source awards, December 2024 for goaling and subcontracting. Most write-ups mention only the first.
  • State preferences vary far more than people expect. Kansas must award to a certified disabled veteran business bidding within 10 percent of the low bid. Six states offer nothing at all.

How this works

Listings come from the SBA’s certified-firm records, not from applications or advertising. Every firm page links to that firm’s record at SBA, so a contracting officer or prime can confirm the certification in one click rather than taking our word for it.

State pages cite the statute or procurement rule behind every figure. Where a state publishes nothing we could verify, we say so instead of guessing.
